Gams bei Hieflau: Forstauer's Brauhaus Gesäuse (free when consumed; bring your own charger)

Refreshments:

Forstauer's Brewery Gesäuse in Gams near Hieflau

Alpine region Gesäuse National Park: panoramic mountain bike tour

The first section of this stage once again promises solitude: forest roads take you through the sleepy, wooded mountains above the deeply cut Salza to the Köpplalm, before you then descend over steep forest roads (caution, partly loose gravel) down into the Krautgraben. If the stage is not demanding enough for you, you have the opportunity to explore part of the designated mountain bike route "Wildalpen". But watch out: along the stage of the Trans National Park described here, you will soon reach a highlight of the day, the Nothklamm. Although you drive the gorge with your bike via a path that is indirectly guided in the gorge bottom - a visit to the gorge via the footpath (entry fee) is also absolutely recommended. Then the route takes you through the pretty village of Gams, before you reach your stage destination Mooslandl via the Radstatthöhe.
