Description: Important: part of the route between the Innerrosenau up to the Egglalm is a PUSHING ROUTE, here the bike should be pushed and please be sure to close the pasture gates!!!
Please note that the Trans National Park is only signposted in one direction: from Steyr to Johnsbach.
A very scenic and physically demanding tour, as it is one of the longest stages of the Trans National Park.
The views of the Tote Gebirge and the large and small Pyhrgas make up for the effort. Cyclists and e-bikes can "refuel" during a relaxing break at one of the rustic National Park mountain huts on the Hengstpass.

What makes us Trail Angels unique in sustainable tourism? We always think and design projects holistically and in partnership: from the project idea to regional value-adding booking management. To achieve this, we combine our expertise as an innovative agency for sustainable tourism with that of an efficient specialised travel agency. Let yourself be inspired by our Trail Angels philosophy.
Please note that the states of Upper Austria and Styria work with different systems and we were therefore unfortunately only able to link the Upper Austrian accommodation under "my recommendations".
At www.bookyourtrail.com you will find all bike-friendly businesses that are located along the Trans National Park and are happy to accommodate cyclists!
