Pilgrimage on long-distance alpine hiking trails from Altötting to Mariazell

From St. Wolfgang the path leads via Au along the edge of the forest in the direction of Schwarzensee to Schwarzenbach. Via Rußbach and the Nussensee onto the Elisabeth forrest path, which leads directly to Bad Ischl (469 m).
From the "Trinkhalle" buldiing past the train station and over the "Steinfeldbrücke" bridge to the right bank of the "Traun" river. Through the places "Steinfeld" and "Brandenberg" to the sewage treatment plant. After a change to the other side of the Traun, the way goes a bit along the cycle path next to the main road. Over the "Mitterweißbach" bridge (456 m) we get back to the right side of the Traun. Shortly after "Langwies", the route leads away from the main road past small settlements and farmsteads through the plain in front of Ebensee. Below the calvary church, the "Soleweg" path reaches the old village center of Ebensee am Traunsee (425 m).

From St. Wolfgang one hour to Schwarzenbach and another 2.5 hours to Bad Ischl., Approx. 1 hour to Mitterweißbach, 1 hour to Langwies and approx. 2.5 hours to Ebensee.
