The 2-storey "Michalelerkeller" is the deepest vaulted cellar open to the public in Steyr. About 600 years old, it formerly served as a wine cellar of the Michaelerkirche Church. Barrel vaults and cobblestone paving bestow a very special ambience to the three cellar rooms.
The rooms are privately owned and are available only for selected events.
The paving requires sturdy shoes. Due to the high humidity, events should not last longer than one hour.
Room height approx. 2.5 m / room width approx. 4 m, 2 tables, bar tables (barrels), stone stage, projector, DVD player, loudspeakers, power connection, mostly candle lighting
