Start of the Benedict Pilgrimage Trail Kremstal

Starting at the Cistercian monastery in Schlierbach, you will explore the inspiring circular hiking trail in the Upper Krems Valley on this 3-day hike.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn interesting facts about the pilgrimage trail alongside the trail initiators.

Meeting point: 9.30 am in Schlierbach, in the inner courtyard of the abbey
The first stage leads via the municipality of Wartberg to the Genuss & Erlebnishof Mayr
(15km, 220Hm)

On Friday you meet at the Genuss & Erlebnishof Mayr and make a pilgrimage to the
Magdalenaberg pilgrimage church. From there you continue to the municipality of Inzersdorf to the second stage destination: Marktgemeinde Micheldorf (22km, 310Hm)

The last stage, with meeting point in the centre of Micheldorf, allows the hiking group to climb the Georgenberg (a special place of power in the region).
From there, the trail leads to the district capital of Kirchdorf/Krems and back to Schlierbach via the Grillparz, with its impressive views. (14km,680Hm)
