From Maria Neustift, the trail leads along the E31, E31a hiking trail to the Krifter (811 m) and over the meadow ridge to a fork in the trail (detour to the Freithofberg with alpine hut - 985m). From the fork in the trail, turn right and walk a short distance downhill on a forest road to the goods road or WW E31a to the Neustifter Sattel. From here, continue on the WW E32 in the direction of Großgschnaidt. Turn right at the bus stop and hike up to the Hochramskogel snack station.
From there, continue in the direction of the Lindaumauer. When you reach the saddle, you will see a huge rock in the forest. There you start the detour to the left to the Lindaumauer (1,103 m), where you are rewarded with a magnificent view. If you simply want to stay on the trail, turn right and follow the WW E04 downhill to the "Platten", where you then turn left towards Neudorf and follow the WW E04 downhill to Grünangerl. Here you turn left onto the Schwaig unterm Berg estate road. Continue past the Gaisberg farmhouse until you reach the Lindau district.
We keep to the left and continue a short distance on the main road until we reach the Thalhof farm. Here we turn right onto hiking trail E03 - Dornbergweg - and continue hiking to Gaflenz. From Gaflenz, the trail leads via the E 06 cross path to the Heiligenstein (782 m) and then via the Heiligenstein hiking trail down to Weyer.
